Diamond Bar High School Athletic Trainer Wins CIF-SS Champion for Character Award

WALNUT, CA— September 25th 2017, Diamond Bar High School athletic trainer Chase Paulson was recognized for giving athletes tools for success on the playing field and in life.

Paulson was awarded the Jim Staunton CIF-Southern Section Champions for Character Award during the 14th annual awards dinner held at The Grand Conference Center in Long Beach.

The award recognizes athletes, coaches, administrators, and schools for displaying exemplary character and sportsmanship on the field, on campus, and in the community, that exemplify the core values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.

Paulson, a certified athletic trainer, works hard to keep student-athletes safe and healthy for competition

Under his leadership, Diamond Bar High has been recognized as a Safe Sports School by the National Athletic Trainers Association. He also advises the school’s HOSA organization that promotes future health professionals.

“I am extremely honored, blessed, and encouraged to continue Pursuing Victory with Honor – the CIF motto,” Paulson said.

“Thank you, CIF-SS for this award and thank you to Diamond Bar High for the continual support. I am humbled by the kind words and actions of so many around me!”
