University of Hawai’i at Manoa Hosts Debate

On Monday, March 16th, The University of Hawaii at Manoa Post Professional Athletic Training Education Program (PPATEP) hosted a debate over the following statement “A Master’s degree from a CAATE accredited Professional/Entry-Level Athletic Training Education Program should be required to become eligible for BOC certification as an Athletic Trainer.” Athletic Trainers from all over Oahu as well as students from the entry level Masters of Athletic Training Program attended and voted on the winner. Many great points were made during the debate and the Q&A session afterwards allowed for an exchanging of ideas that proved beneficial to all who were present.
