UOP Initiates Gamma Pi Chapter of Athletic Training Education Honor Society

On April 30th of 2014, University of the Pacific initiated the Charter Members of the Gamma Pi Chapter of Iota Tau Alpha Honor Society. Six Honorary members, four Alumni members, three Graduate Members, and 11 Regular members composed the Charter Class. Initiation was lead by President, Tessa Dahl and Vice President, Josh Lee. The ceremony took place on University of the Pacific’s campus within Morris Chapel where each member took the oath and signed the Charter Certification of the Gamma Pi Chapter.

The Purpose of Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training Education Honor Society is the promotion and encouragement of scholarly activity in athletic training and the recognition of outstanding achievement among students enrolled in athletic training education programs. Iota Tau Alpha activities shall be designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment, and investigation in Athletic Training Education, and to promote the dissemination of information among students of Athletic Training Education.
