AT Beth Young Receives Distinguished Alumnae Award

On Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Sheraton Waikiki ballroom with over 800+ people in attendance, Punahou athletic trainer – Beth Ann Young, ATC received the Distinguished Alumnae Award from her alma mater – Sacred Hearts Academy. The evening – billed as the Sacred Hearts Academy Gala showcased six distinguished alumnae from the all girls school located in Honolulu, Hawaii.

As a 1985 Sacred Hearts Academy graduate and long-time Punahou School athletic trainer, Beth has distinguished herself in the field of athletic training throughout her years serving at her school as well as with the professional athletic trainer state, district, and national associations. Beth was nominated by a former Punahou wrestler and co-worker, Glenn Beachy. Sacred Hearts Academy is a historic Roman Catholic college preparatory school for girls founded in 1909 to serve the needs of early Hawai’i Catholics in the former Territory of Hawai’i.
