Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table celebrated NATM
Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table (SBART) celebrated National Athletic Training Month by recognizing Athletic Trainers on March 11, 2019 at the weekly luncheon. SBART President recognized that the athletic trainers were the first at an event and the last ones to leave. One of the coaches from Westmont College thanked his Athletic Trainer for being at his track meets and providing the medical care.
Local school athletic trainers were recognized at the Round Table press luncheon. Those in attendance were, from left: Joseph Farias (SBCC), Cydney Pierce (Laguna Blanca), Kenna Hodeaux (UCSB), Maria Rivera (Westmont), Brian Alvarez (Santa Barbara High) and Hazel Ando (UCSB); seated, from left: Wendy Whitehead (Dos Pueblos) and Susan Houlihan-Davis (SBCC). Missing are Brian Linden (San Marcos), Shannon Drew (Cate), Kyle Jones (Cate), Garrett Santi (Bishop Diego), Brian Tran (Westmont), Leroy Heu (UCSB), Arbhie Guce (UCSB), Jesus Puentes (UCSB), Jackson Smidt (UCSB), Wednesday Bienusa (UCSB).
