HATA Promotes NATM with Zumba Day
Taking a break after working up a sweat in the first zumba class!
On Sunday, March 16th, Hawaii Athletic Trainers’ Association (HATA) Public Relations and Young Professionals Committees hosted a Zumba day event at McKinley High School in Honolulu, HI. Local instructors CJ and Sherry taught two Zumba classes and informational booths were presented by HATA and Hawaii Concussion Awareness and Management Program (HCAMP).
The University of Hawaii at Manoa Post Professional Athletic Training Students hosted a rehab Olympics obstacle course for high school students. This free event included HATA members and families, high school students and Zumba participants. The day was educational, fun, and filled with camaraderie to promote National Athletic Training Month.
