Reid Takano Receives FWATA PR Excellence in Athletic Training Award

The FWATA Public Relations Committee is pleased to announce the winner of the Excellence in Athletic Training Award. Each quarter, the Excellence in Athletic Training Award celebrates District 8 athletic trainers or athletic training student members who display an exceptional commitment to mentoring, professional development or enhancing the quality of health care.
This quarter’s winner is Reid Takano BS, ATC of Moanalua High School, Honolulu, Hawai’i.
“Mahalo nui loa! It’s a true honor to be recognized by professional colleagues for my service to our athletes, association and profession. There are so many athletic trainers in Hawai’i that are deserving of this award, it’s great to just be nominated! I believe in surrounding yourself with positive people who are going to push you toward greatness. That being said, I share this with the Hawai’i Athletic Trainers’ Association!” writes Reid.
