SDSU Future Athletic Trainers’ Society Host Red Cross Blood Drive
San Diego State University Future Athletic Trainers’ Society (FATS) hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive on the SDSU campus on February 27, 2014 from 10am-4pm. Their mission was to gather as many people as possible to donate, as well as donate ourselves. The exact number of donors was unknown, but the Red Cross staff indicated that towards the end of the event they ran out of places to store the blood bags. They even started to turn down individuals who wanted to donate that did not have an appointment because there was just not space available to store the blood. It was a very successful event for SDSU FATS.
