FWATA 2023 AMCS Change of Venue
FWATA Members and Guests,
Due to circumstances out of our control, the 2023 Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium will not be hosted by the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa. The meeting has been moved to the Hilton Waikoloa Village (25-30 minutes north of Kona International Airport). The dates of the meeting will remain the same, July 11-15, 2023.
We understand this will affect a number of our members who have already made plans and arrangements, and we apologize for any inconvenience; but the AMCS Committee, FWATA Managing Board, and Outrigger Hospitality Group have worked together with Hilton Waikoloa to make this change as seamless as possible. There is no action required at this time regarding your room reservation at the Outrigger.
Information regarding the transfer of room reservations and additional meeting details will be coming very soon. We kindly ask for your patience as this information was made known to us very recently, and we are working tirelessly to solve as many issues as possible and provide you with information that will assist with your trip planning. With that said, we felt it was important to provide our membership with the limited information that we do have regarding the venue change as early as possible.
We are excited about this opportunity to work with an incredible Hilton property. We also want to thank the Outrigger Hospitality Group staff for all they have done and continue to do to assist with the change of venue under very difficult circumstances.
Additional information will be provided via email, website updates, and social media regarding the FWATA AMCS. We will continue to provide updates as details are confirmed by all parties involved.
